this thread is pointless

Really the real winners are people who like both sides wink.gif

Was going to get a GTX780 myself but for $650 I will probably wait till the end of the year for what AMD might be offering. Plan on Getting two and tossing waterblocks on them, so It will get expensive. And if i'm going to be using it for 2 years or so Might as well get the best card for the money, even if I have to put up with another summer with my cards. Though I'm not lacking performance one bit, having to turn down setting so games don't use to much v-ram is my biggest problem. Might as well get haswell now and get videocards later.

Reading comprehension class for the both of you.
"Add", which I underlined with red, means that I can go in, pick a game .exe file and define specific settings for that very game.

And cheers for calling me a nOOb, that's very kind of you, eh?

No, it's useful for people who are trying to get a solid framerate from every game, especially in the case of 3Dvision. You need to customize everything to get a consistent experience.

Though I was under the impression ati allowed that as well...

I've always said with conviction that hardware wise, Nvidia doesn't stand a chance against AMD. The only thing keeping the red beast at bay is their inferior software. Granted, Titan is a VERY good single GPU, best ever. However, it costs an awful lot and won't go anywhere especially now with the 780 at ~half the price.
