Asus VX238 not displaying full screen

Thread Starter
So I just bought an Asus VX238 monitor and was using it fine with my GTS 450, 1920x1080 res at 1080p, the monitor worked great and displayed all across the whole screen. I just recently recieved my new HD 7770 card and now my asus monitor won't display at 1920x1080 and does not fill up the whole screen.. the highest the res will go for it under amd catalyst software is 1680x1050 res which isn't native res for my monitor. Could anyone please help me solve this?

I AM using hdmi for this monitor, my second monitor, which is displaying the full screen will also display 1920x1080 res and that monitor is using dvi

Hi, I have the exact same monitor that I received today and had the exact same problem.

Right click somewhere on your desktop and open Catalyst Control Center. Note that if it is present or you don't have the following setting then go to the following website to download or update it.

http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx

Under Desktops and Displays click My VGA Displays.
Under Image Scaling move the slider to 0.

Hope that helps.
