7950 Overclocking Help

Thread Starter
So I'm trying to overclock my Sapphire 7950. It's stock clocks are 925, and I bumped the power usage slide to 20%, and the Core clock to 1200 mhz, and ran kombustor, and it ran fine, but the core clock kept fluctuating from 800, to 1200. I'm not sure how to bench these cards with the boost. My games run fine, but could it really be that easy?

You need to get MSI Afterburner and enable unofficial overclocking and voltage. And get GPU Tool and slowly increase your core until artifact and then slowly increase memory and thats your max oc

Yeah I got that, thats what I did, I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly. Since the gpu load keeps dropping

Stick to official overclocking (-xcl method), and try using the +50% power hack if your clocks keep jumping around.

Yeah I ended up doing that, running at 1200mhz stable at 1.125v
