Windows 7 doesn't respond to tweaking like XP did (my FX-51 rig with XP Pro had 11 processes max; gained between 9 and 45% performance in benches/games). My advice, disable the stuff you KNOW you don't need, and don't mess with the rest.
Totaly agree! And One More tip: Read carefully what every service does so u know what to disable or not! Have fun gaining some Ram/Performance boost!;D

I got it down to 38 until i couldn't install Vegas movie studio and i hav=d to enable a host of processes to get it to install, currently I do have 59 processes running and one think I discovered a new feature, i can run multiple games at once! i minimize one and play a different one instead of closing the game entirely i can even put the computer to sleep and play any one of the games later, the i5 3570k is indeed a powerful processor i don't think im losing much with 59 processes running
