How long do you guys think this will last and who's the OEM?
Also, why are there so many 1 star reviews compared to the Rosewill? I need help picking out a 500-600W power supply from 60-70 dollars that will last me a long time frown.gif

The CX600M is a modified Channel Well Tech DSA-II unit. It's a low-end budget unit that is inferior to the Rosewill Capstone.
The 450w version of the Capstone is more than plenty to power that Athlon II x3 and 7750 setup.

I don't feel comfortable getting a Rosewill. (the only reason I bought one at first was because I was in a rush to pick parts and I ended up only judging its quality by Newegg reviews.)
Is the Seasonic at the beginning of the thread http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096 good?

The Rosewill Capstone 450w (built on Super Flower's "Golden Green" platform) is the way to go for your build, and it's only $60.

However, the Seasonic S12II is a good PSU model as well. Not as good as the Capstone, but still suitable.

I've got a rosewill hive 750w PSU...been chugging along for a year...no issues with it at all! I thought it was a great buy. 12v, 5v, 3v rails are all great voltages under the max load I can draw...

Yeah the stallion isn't the best.. but not wanting a Capstone cause the Stallion isn't great is like not wanting a GTX 780 cause your GTS 450 artifacts. That's how different the PSU's are. Superflower is a fantastic OEM, and generally speaking I would put them over Seasonic. Don't get me wrong, they are each fantastic.

Could you leave a feedback post on the Hive in the Rosewill thread?

Is the Seasonic at the beginning of the thread http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151096 good?

Except for some exceptions, brands doesn't dictate how good a power supply is going to be. Each and and every brand has the potential to sell crap, but as well as excellent units. Rosewill may havestarted out poorly when they used companies like DEER which may have been the reasoning for their poor reputation by some people; however, their power supplies have vastly improved over the past few years with their current main OEMs Highpower / Sirtec, ATNG, and Super Flower.

The Capstone in question as stated by other people a few times are based on the SF Golden Green. Other units that are based off of that platform are NZXT Hale90, Kingwin Lazer Gold, PC Power & Cooling MKIII 750-850w, etc. The flashy Rosewill Lightning is also based on that platform.

The Seasonic S12II Bronze is a good lower mid-range unit; however, it is still inferior to the Capstone at that price point. If you want to get a Seasonic that's comparable, then look at the Seasonic G SSR-450RM / 550RM (I sometimes see both the 450 and 550w variant in the same price range ).
