Mice with shapes similar to WMO

Thread Starter
I really liked the shape of the WMO and was wondering if there are any modern mice today that have a really similar shape and a good sensor. The only one I know of is the Sensei, which sadly has positive acceleration.

The Zowie AM is your best bet mate.

- flawless sensor
- rubber on it feels amazing
- cable is so freaking light
- mouse feet are big as hell for dat glide
- no drivers

Subjective stuff and in many cases flat out wrong.

-"Flawless" sensor is a silly expression to use. That would mean it's perfectly 1:1. Always. No mouse has or will ever have a completely perfect tracking ability. Furthermore the AM has just about the lowest malfunction speed of any 3090 mouse out there, which is definitely a huge flaw in and of it self imo.

- I think the rubber made the sides very hard to grip

- The cable is definitely among the bigger mouse cables out there.

- Big mouse feet do not equal better glide, if anything it's the opposite. Friction and surface and all that.

- No drivers is absolutely not a perk for everyone. It's probably the main reason I returned mine. The AM's crappy 400lb huano switches didn't help either of course.

Tragically, due to how few half decent mice there are in the world at this time, the AM may indeed be the best for you. If you don't have to set a specific DPI value and you're happy with either 470/1200 DPI, a max speed of less than 3m/s and huano switches (cringe) then it would be a great mouse.

am doesnt really feel like the wmo at all, they're both ambidextrous and that's where the similarity ends. there are better choices if you're looking for something like the wmo.

Kana is a mouse that's apparently very similar to the wmo in shape, weight, and size.
i personally havent found anything that comes close to the wmo's shape, although my experience with smaller ambidextrous mice is limited to the am, imo 1.1, wmo, and abyssus so far.

Zowie AM has a weird shape, its like they designed it, molded it, said "hey that looks like wmo" and then packaged and sold it before ever seeing how it felt to use.

Because AM straight up feels weird and will cramp your hand.

I didn't use WMO ever in my life, but just from the pictures I don't see how it's similar to AM. AM weirdness is weird..

I've been looking for the same thing, and this is the best I've come up with:

Zowie EC1 Evo (Bad scrollwheel on some batches, needs a single color mousepad, weird DPI steps bc of custom lense)
Zowie FK (Improved version of AM with better shape, same sensor as EC1 )
Kinzu v2 Pro (Low malfunction speed, weird shape for some people, needs a single color mousepad)

The FK looks like the closest match to the WMO from what I can tell, but it's stupidly expensive in the US.

I ended up going with the EC1, I can let you know how it works out when I get it.

FK doesn't seem too bad in price, just like $8 more expensive than the EC1 eVo.

Hey thanks, I didn't see that. I'll see if I can change my order to a FK.

EC1 is definitely more of an ie3.0 shape.

The FK looks promising. But why a yellow scheme?mad.gif
