Even if you could chain 10 ps4's together with 100% scaling, it would be easily 5k dollars if not more depending on how much the console costs lol

They use AMD Jaguar APUs and both are designed specifically for high-end tablets and ultrabooks. They are in no way a generation ahead of high end PCs.

It is true in regards to audio performance. Windows is pathetic at it, they axed hardware DirectSound starting with Vista, and true 5.1 with it. Not to mention that audio service priority is low and it can choke under load. So even top Xonar can't help you here.

However, he doesn't say average; he just says PCs. This is where he's insanely wrong; as almost everyone has said, going completely insane on hardware can result with a PC that's equal to several PS4s (3970k, tri-SLI titans, 16-32GB RAM, Raid 0 SSDs, etc.).

I know you are still comparing that 1.6 GHz Console CPU to our Desktop CPUs.
It will be able to handle things like atomics, threads, fibers, and ULTs, with out-of-order execution and advanced ISA.

Program is filled in memory distributed in the form of instruction.
There are many instructions, some take longer time to complete, some completes very fast, because they are in different registers. That type of instructions which are distinctly distributed in perticular registers, CPU can not execute those instructions at same time, so here in this case execution of many instruction requires different cycle times. It happens many times that longer instruction is needed to be completed for further execution of other instructions.

Our CPUs don't support handling of atomics, threads, fibers, and ULTs.

This might be a clear reason they are claiming to be a generation ahead than current PC.

Console CPU follows "Out of order execution". Our CPUs don't.

Huh? Almost every Intel CPU since the Pentium4 has supported out of order execution. Basically the only exception was the Atom, but even the next Atom CPU's will support OoOE. I'm pretty sure games for consoles are coded basically the same as for PC using high-level programming languages, modern consoles are running an almost full featured OS regardless if it's MS kernel based or Linux Kernel base.

Ah, sorry ! I've fixed. My bad I didn't know HyperThreading utilizes this tech,..... But the compiler still don't have to suffer from many layers, hence it should always run much efficiently on console than PC.

8 core@ 1.6/2.0Ghz paired with the equivalent of a 7870/660 GPU is considered low/mid range.

The EA exec doesn't have a clue.

I bet these new consoles run @ 30FPS with occasional lag in heavy scenes.
