I am a little confused do the EVGA FTW edition exhaust the air downwards towards the cooling of the case or to the side from the 2 twin blades?
Can someone tell me where does the air intake/exhaust blow?
If you are going to use a single card yes, go for ACX cooling, if you are going to SLI you may get the Nvidia stock cooling system because it will blow the hot air outside of the case but you will going to deal with the fan noise. Nvidia stock cooling had a good improvement compared with the same looking cooling system used in the 600's model's The 780 use the same Titan chamber cooling.

For SLI on 780's your better off going reference and cranking up the fan or better yet, putting waterblocks on those reference cards.
If you have a good ventilated case you may get around the with hot air. but i do say for the single card i will gos ACX.
PS: the reason I choose the ACX sli is because it going under water before one way or another. If same day i decide to sell the 780's it will going to help a lot because many of us don't like the blowout chamber stock cooling from nvidia. Edited by skyn3t - 5/26/13 at 8:32am
