The 570 was a binned 580 with a cluster disabled and some the memory chopped down, so what?

What has this got to do with your claim of "they won't be supporting the 780/Titan"? I can go to Nvidias driver page now and download 320.18 for both the 570 and 580, in fact, I can go and use the same driver in Win 8 for an 8800 which is 7 years old.

You appear to just be making things up as you go along and are trying to pass them off as fact, which they're not, it's just rubbish tongue.gif

A typical excepted response for someone who has no clue of what is talking about biggrin.gif

Name me a driver the boosted a performance in a Titan or 780?

Plus my 500 series are here to prove that even the cards based on the same chips are impacted differently by a driver.
Hope you get it.

Or in a long run: I have a factual history that backs me up. Meanwhile you think it is something I made up.

I have a good laugh with your posts man! rolleyes.gif

Only golden Titans reached 80 fps+ but with exotic cooling and probably are hardly stable at those clocks.
wholeeo's very impressive 780 defeated 60% of the Titans in that benchmarks. only 11 Titans (the other 40%) bested it but barely.
Titan out of the box is the fastest card. but when it comes to overclocking it is debatable. GTX 780 is a potential threat for it after overclocking.

wholeeo's watercooled apparently pretty golden 780 can be beaten by anyone with an average air cooled Titan and a clean windows installation.

wholeeo was at 1228MHz or something while I can score well over 82 fps at 1175MHz.... mrtooshort was already getting around 86 with the same tweaked drivers as wholeeo and his card was also at around the 1228+ range.

Most of the people in these threads just can't bench at all. Bad bioses, bad windows installations, running background programs all that. I honestly have no idea how you get something like 70fps with a Titan. I get 67.9 or something at stock settings.

What? What point? That VI/9970 will be out in q4 2013 as stated by AMD. Do you want the link again?

Why don't you show me some "proof" of it coning out with bf4 in October since you seem to be spreading that everywhere.

This Tom`s hardware links carries the info of a later 2013 release. It does not say Q4 specifically.

Actually...Samples have been coming out for a little bit -- The distributor "assumption" is that it will be out with BF4...That doesn't mean he's right but, that's the current consensus.

Again, I'm not saying he's actually right but, we didn't exactly expect the Titan to launch, overnight, either when we'd had the 780 samples for @ a month longer then the Titans...Just sayin.

*I missed the typo -- I was referring to the 8970*
