In this whole argument, NVIDIA is the one laughing all the way to the bank. wink.gif

I think we see ROPs and/or TUs bottle-necking 7970 @higher resolutions. 8970 will supposedly fix that. They say 35% improvement over 7970 which I think will be true @1440p and higher (impressive if they match 780 with smaller die-size and transistors count). But why wait if you already have 780 with the same performance?!

who cares, overclocking isn't a part of "out of the box" anyways.

Don't care that you're LOL'ing or not -- Vendors are reporting that their 780's are OC'ing much better then the Titans...

I'm going to take the word of vendors that see 100s of cards/day over random people on OCN...

On average from 3 major vendor/boutiques -- The 780 is Ocing to @1150 60% of the time where as the Titan is in the 30%'s...

Does that mean on average the 780 will pass the Titan? No...But, again, I take my facts from statistics...Numbers don't lie. thumb.gif

Scaling. I am waiting to get 4 of them because of better scaling on AMD's side.

Especially at higher resolutions such as 7680x1440, you need a lot of cards.

No offence but 4 is overkill.

If you take price performance using those data pfff titan is not even funny..

780 need @ $100 drop in price and it would be a GREAT CHOICE
