GTX 780:

US Price: $650
UK Equivalent price: $830+

Seems fair...

770 and 770 is coming out on the 30th biggrin.gif
post #425 of 2543
To make a non reference 780 it has to pass Nvidia greenlight, which surely would not allow unlocked voltage. Is there any point in the Lighting's other then custom PCB, VRM and louder fans for the 780? Not that they are not nice cards, just curious.

£550 on Scan bud, expect there to be a small drop soon enough. Their Titans were £920 at launch, now they're £795 3 months later

Lol titan is 50% less bang for buck vs the 780, i think a lot of potential titan buyers are going to opt out for the 780, like me.

Even if you have a lot of income and money, $350 difference (over 50%) for 5% performance is pushing it unless you're into a pretty high territory. No one's saying the Titan got worse magically today, so I'm not sure where you got that from out of my post (though its resale value is plummeting, I guess). Barring the 20 or so people in the forums who run 7680x1600 or 7680x1440 120hz, the Titan (for gamers) is pointless in the market now.

OC titan vs. OC 780

I can't find the American review I had seen but it had basically identical results, with gaming tests included.

It's not even the usual huge price-performance premium... it's a full order of magnitude worse basically. I do get the argument of "we had 2 months to enjoy it" but that's about it... and that's a pretty short time if you ask me.
