When was the 7970 within 20% of 780? I'm seeing 22-25% for 7970GHz. The regular 7970 is almost 30% behind.

The 780 completely destroys the 7970 and 7970GHz, no way around it.

$450 * 1.3 = $585 if it was a linear performance/price ratio. For a quieter card with better drivers and a lot of other features, $65 is hardly much of a premium, even putting price/performance aside (and they never scale linearly at high-end). Seems like a reasonable curve still.

Gtx 780 is not 30% faster than the 7970. Titan is.

Seems to be a trend in society... "me me me". If you can't afford it or don't like it, don't like the price, don't like the color of the DVI connector, or any other random reeason , don't buy it... this is NOT a staple of living.

This from the same person that claimed PNY still offered a lifetime warranty with their video cards? LOl
Here is a news flash for you me me me. PNY has even made it lower with the 780!!! Its now one year told ya that they were CHEAP thumb.gif

GTX 780 is within 5% on most every test I've seen, of the Titan, and matches it when both are oc'd. So, 30% average is indeed accurate.

Well, I doubt AMD looks at it that way honestly. They've been focused on cornering the console market which may end up being a lot more profitable for them than competing directly with Nvidia at the top end of the discrete graphics card market...

Many models DO offer lifetime warranty, go read PNY's own website instead of relying on convenience-only-for-reference vendor info for one specific model.

EDIT for the lazy: Warranty
1 year (will be extended for the lifetime of the original purchaser upon completion of a registration form on PNY's website)

Why do you keep spreading this lie?

Please don't use Newegg as a reference for manufacturer's warranty.

What lie? I've seen multiple reviews where that is the case. You might want to contact them if you have some special insight here....
