If your playing bf3 go for 306.
Otherwise go for 314

If your playing bf3 and metro(you need at least 314) your best bet for bf3
is 314 + bf3 windowed + bf3 borderless app.

Heard of Fermi cards being fried by 320.18 drivers; any Fermi owners want to share their experience?

I'm gonna go back to 314.22 This newest driver and all others since seem to lock up my card (GTX 550Ti) or cause it to run when not needed. I hate the newest drivers. My card is a Fermi but the latest driver hasn't fried my card. Yet. I'm rolling back to 314.22 as I stated earlier.

Started getting graphical glitches in BF3 with new drivers, rolling back to 314.22

Apparently, 320.18 is killing Fermi users. Literally.

So those glitches and artifacts that Fermi users are experiencing, it's not odd. It's an issue.

Unless it disables thermal throttling somehow, there is absolutely no way it could damage hardware. No need to blow this out of proportion.

I'm not.

But I checked a few other forums and some of them did indeed have weird BSODs. So just a heads up caution, better to be safe than sorry no?
Obviously it isn't happening to everyone but just incase something weird is happening to one's GPU then there's at least some sort of an explanation.

You should read the Nvidia forums under the 320.18 feedback thread. There are multiple reports of GPUs ceasing to work once updated to 320.18, some are fortunate enough to be able to boot back into safe mode and roll back the drivers, whiles other could no long POST. Then there is a very small amount who confirmed their cards were dead by replacing it with a known good card.
Nvidia's only response is to set your cards back to stock clock speeds before updating the drivers. So it very well could be thermal related, but it sounds as if the drivers may be the culprit.

Either way, the entire 320.18 is pretty much a flop.
