i7 3770k 5ghz h60 safe? - Page 4

well i bought the termaltake and i am very happy i at 4.5ghz at 1.336v my ambiant is about 25C and my full load is 65c

iv ran my 2600k at 5ghz on 1.48-1.5 for over a year but on a custom loop and its idle alot other then gaming and some folding here usualy during the events.

fold on it for a day thats the best way to judge heat and how stable it is folding is much more demanding then prime or ibt it will either bsod crash or fail work units if its not stable.

Check out the delid method using a vice and block of wood and hammer Matt, looks much more safe than the razor method, in fact it looks almost fool proof.

now i have it installed in my corsair 400r but i had to mount the fans on the outside of the case do to my high profile ram so i am thinking of buying the bitfenix shinobi do you think that it will give me the required space?

The bitfenix shinobi doesnt look too big inside. Couldnt you just replace your high profile ram with something low profile like the 8GB Samsung 30nm kit?

Good luck finding that magic ram. You might get lucky on Amazon but prices are way too steep beyond their value.
