Bitfenix Prodigy : Need info about the cooling options.

So I decided to go with the Bitfenix prodigy (mainly cause its on sale on NCIX this week tongue.gif)

I'd like to know what are my options for cooling the system.

I have : i7-3770k, XFX 7850 core edition, 1 samsung ssd.

First of all, shouold i get the black version because it has mesh front vs the white opaque ? it seems like the black one will have better airflow.

I was thinking about getting :
- 200-230mm fan in front (or 2x 120mm ?)
- H100i on top OR H80i in the back (both as exhaust)

And do you guys have any suggestion to add some lighting in my case ? i kinda wanna pimp it up a bit lol

Go for the bigger mm fan as it will generate less noise, and an H100i sounds perfect, you just might want to pick up some quieter fans for the radiator. Just pick up a small strip of LED lights and wire it up. Cathodes are old news IMHO.

What fan would be good for the H100i ?(any good LED fans ?) and do i have enough space for push-pull ?\

And do i have enough room for a fan controller if i get the H100i ?

Also what about black vs white case for the airflow ? is it gonna change much ?

I've see the H100i in the prodigy mounted as intake and placed in the front. If done there you can do push/pull (you will have to remove the HDD bays). If you don't mount it in the front you will have to remove the 5.25 bay to mount it effectively. This will prevent you from putting a fan controller in it.

I would recommend that if you want the fan controller and push/pull that you mount the h100i in the front as intake.

**Here is a link to the Prodigy Owners Club. On page 601 are some pictures of the prodigy with a front mounted H100**

wow i didnt know you could install a h100i in front.

Is there any LED strip that doesnt require a pci slot ? I wanted to get the NZXT sleeved LED but its got a pci bracket and my GPU takes the 2 pci slot available already.

Which one of these fan would be good for a push pull configuration ? Can I use the fans included in the H100i (SP120L) or should i have the same fans for push/pull ?

Fans i' m considering :

- Cooler Master R4-L2R-20 120mm Red LED (http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=54352&vpn=R4-L2R-20AR-R1&manufacture=COOLERMASTER)
- Bitfenix Spectre Pro BFF-LPRO-12025R-RP 120MM Red LED (http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=66095&vpn=BFF-LPRO-12025R-RP&manufacture=BitFenix&promoid=1360)
- Bitfenix Spectre BFF-BLF-12025R-RP 120MM Red LED (http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=64831&vpn=BFF-BLF-12025R-RP&manufacture=BitFenix&promoid=1360)
-Silverstone FN121-P-RL 120mm Sleeve Bearing LED (http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=76607&vpn=FN121-P-RL&manufacture=Silverstone%20Technology)

I'm looking for a silent but good enough fan for my H100i in push pull. If possible I would like to keep the fans included with the clc as push fan and use the LED fans as pulling fan.

Pls help me out smile.gif

EDIT : I' ve decided to mount the H100i on top so i' ll be using the LED fans as exhaust. So im guessing the Cooler master fans are out because they dont look so nice from the back.
