I5/I7 1155 or 2011 for gtx690

So i have a gtx690 currently with a fx8150 but im looking to upgrade in a few days ill be posting my asus g75 laptop on ebay to try to get a new motherboard and cpu but id figure i might ask for some help on what would be the best for my money.

Either get a 3570k or 3770k.

the 3570k will be enough for a GTX690.

"Best" for your cash is a used i7 920 that will overclock over 4.0ghz. Cheapest and won't bottleneck at high resolutions/details. But I'd just pony up some extra cash to get the latest/greatest. Hopefully thats Haswell if the OCs are good.

well the 3770k is 229$ at Microcenter and the 3570k is around 170$

In sweden 4770k will cost about 436$ while a 3770k is at about 360-370$....
