I built my custom loop and it has been running for ~6 months.. now what? How do I maintain it?

This is probably a dumb question but at this point I'm wondering what's next for my system. I've had a custom loop built / running for about 6 months now. Does the system need to be drained periodically? Or does this basically last forever? I used some Koolance coolant that I think claims it fights bacteria and stuff.

It is recommended every 12-24 months, depending on what your coolant states, to empty out the loop, give it a rinse with distilled water, check for any leaks, corrosion, or other issues, and replace the coolant.
