You cant even flash the g600 model yourself so that model is screwed.

Interesting. I also have the Roccat Kone Pure with the same sensor and it has no lag. It feels just like any other laser mouse I have such as the Sensei, Xai and g9x. So I guess it can be fixed.

Smoothing is toned down to a minimum but its still "there", needless to say that most people wont notice, but for me its easily feelable in "track aim scenarios".

Similar case with A3090 compared to previous models, at least when compared in perfect situations which reside in having identical hw to play with.

There is literally nothing more responsive (imho) than a well off A3060 model. Angle snapping becomes a relatively minor concern.

All of the early logitech 2020 + encore v1 mice are also extremely responsive compared to current market.

It also seems to be very unstable for me; in some acceleration tests, the distance between origin and destination of a bullet decal can be up to 90 degrees (42cm/360) which means to say there's some sort of loss of tracking every now and again on my mouse. Also the wheel wobbles so much when swiping from side to side (feels very annoying).

tl;dr get a G400/s.

this is whats happening with my steelseries sensei.

Interesting. I switch often between A3080 Azurues mini and 2020 Logitech G1, depending on game. And yes, now that you mention it, everytime I switch to the G1 I'm like "oh responsive". (Overall though the 500hz of the Azurues feels better.)

Yes, some mouse manf. used the correct firmware or offered users the firmware upgrade to correct the problem. Logitech has refused to respond to g600 owners, and still has not for the past 6 months. Its safe to say they will not fix the g500s either.

I wouldn't purchase the g500s I have that and the Logitech g600 Logitech still didn't update the firmware for the avago 9800 you can feel the delay on both there is a forum on Logitech website talking about the g600 delay about 4 to 5 thread pages Logitech still hasn't responded to it

Looks like Logitech has acknowledged the lag problem and are promising a firmware fix in the next 3 weeks.

Sorry to bump the topic but the new firmware (84.9) has now been posted on the Support and Downloads page for the G500s.

Basically, this confirms what I said... Logitech G series is flawed spelt f-l-a-w-e-d. Don't buy them.

Even the G100s is flawed... it misses a click sometimes.

Gone are the days when Logitech made solid mice now all they make is overpriced poor quality junk.

TL;DR I repeat again. Do not buy Logitech.
