Weird "sleep" issue when computer is left on over night.

So, if i leave my computer on over night and go to move the mouse in the morning after the screen sleeps nothing happens. Its stays black until i restart.

I have hibernation and sleep disabled so not sure what this could be?

"Put the computer to sleep - Never"
"Turn off the display - 30 minutes"

Does pressing the power button without holding it down wake it?

When you make changes to the power settings make sure to reboot the machine. I have has this weird thing like that happen before and I noticed that the changes I made went back to the way they were before. Rebooting seemed to make them permanent. Also make sure your power settings in the BIOS are the way you want them too so one isn't overriding the other. Have you installed any new software recently or maybe added a new piece of hardware?

Only new hardware is my water loop so i don't think that would interfere anywhere.

I read something the other day about a setting where u had to click the mouse to get it to wake up. not sure how relevant this is but try that if you didn't already. you probably did, I know I would have, and hit a bunch of keys too. that's the technical procedure for waking up a computer, button mashing.

also if your computer crashes while ur afk it can wind up just being a nonresponsive screen, so its possible for whatever reason an application or OC failure caused a random crash which may or may not repeat itself. even your graphics card can crash and exhibit this behaviour in some cases (less prevalent in current gen cards)

Nope not really. Maybe as an off chance reseat the CPU and RAM and maybe the GPU. It's a long shot and probably won't do much. It's all I can think of. Maybe they were bumped a little when you installed you WC stuff.
