Athlon X4 750K vs i3?

I've been reading some reviews on this CPU, and some are saying the i3 series is better? The Athlon is everything I want, 4 cores, disabled GPU, FM2, and overclocking capabilities. The i3 just doesn't seem to compare, especially with the higher price tag. Should I go with the Athlon or a better AM3+ processor? Mainly will be used for gaming. Thanks thumb.gif

I've seen in benchmarks that the Athlon 750K beats the Phenom II X4

I'm thinking of this motherboard

My point exactly. That's pretty much what I want to use it for and maybe a bit of overclocking.

An 8320 doesn't drop into FM2 socket
