Hi everyone, I am brand new here, and to watercooling, though I've been poking my head around for a while. I am currently planning a loop that will include a 3770K, 2 ASUS GTX 680's with EK blocks and possibly my Maximus V Formula mobo.

One of the questions I've been having is if I would be able to install the EK block, then go ahead and reattach the backplate that came with my 680s.

Also to be specific I have the ASUS DCU2 680 4GB version. I have not found any information that either confirms or denies the compatibility of the blocks. EK's cooling configuration recommends the 670 block for some reason.

But I have also stumbled upon this one for 680's.....

Sorry for the long post.... Any help is appreciated.
