With back-to-school season upon us and Intel's Haswell launch just around the corner, now's a great time for PC makers to start unveiling their summer lineups. Two weeks ago we heard from Sony and today it's HP's turn: the company just refreshed everything from its mainstream notebooks to its high-performance machines. Heck, even the pint-sized dm1 got a makeover.

Scroll down and find HP Pavilion 11 TouchSmart and look at the price and features, will you buy it?

HP Pavilion 11 TouchSmart has A4-A6 Kabini, close to i3 ULV.

Intel i3 ULV is not "17" but 21 watt CPU because of on-board FCH that consumes another 4 watts, compared to Kabini SoC.

They don't look bad. Are HP laptops still awful? I've been dying to find a touch ultrabook that can actually handle some light gaming.

Any laptop I buy has to have a good gpu. So no, I wouldn't buy it.

HP Envy seem to be higher quality than their other lines. I still don't know if I want to drop the money on one considering I don't use a laptop much when I take one to work. I get a lot of things done on my phone or I get my secretary to do things for me.

Finally starting to see decent display resolutions on non mobile devices. That 3,200 x 1,800 is tempting. Enough of this 1600x900 crap on 15in laptops.

What's wrong with HP laptops? I've owned a couple and I have never had a problem with any of them. I would consider HP and Lenovo to be the best laptop manufacturers.

HP made one laptop that had a very bad cooling solution and caused south/north bridges and even CPU's to fry and that was done on laptops/notebooks with AMD APU's Bobcat/Brazos tongue.gif It affected AMD's reputation.
