In interview with Eric Osborn who works as Bungie senior writer and community head said that Destiny may come to PC
Quote:
"We haven't said yes, and we haven't said no," Osborne said. "The more platforms we take on, the more work it ultimately becomes, and what we don't want is to compromise the core experience on any platforms. We have a lot of people who play on PCs. We have a lot of appetite to build that experience. We haven't announced it yet, but we're looking forward to talking more about that kind of stuff in the future."

For those who want to see how the gameplay is :

Since Halo 2 no other Bungie games came to PC. So Destiny may be the first Bungie game to come to PC since 2007. So what is your opinion guys?

I would be really excited for this. I was a big fan of halo 1 and 2 but lost interest in the series over time. I hope Bungie knocks it out of the park and takes this chance to forge a solid new IP.

I hope they do come out with a PC version, especially considering the next - generation consoles are moving to x86 and it could/should be easier to port than in the past. On the other hand, a straight port might not do them any favors so I understand why the are thinking it over. If they have time to release a fully fleshed out and optimized version, then I really hope they do it.

I would buy it for the PC, I hope this becomes reality. If there is no PC version I will not buy it, no more consoles for me.

When a game company even needs to concider it will make a pc version of the game, it can only turn out bad. How hard would it be to transfer it to the pc? The Xone and PS4 are both X86! No PC version = no Bungie games for me.

I was reading somewhere that they were having a hard time deciding because they didn't want to stretch themselves too thin. They want to make sure every customer on every platform gets the same great experience. I've even heard them say they are playing with the idea of loading saves from different platforms or in other words playing a Xbox One save on a PS4 one day. I may get an Xbox One just because of the cool media center touches they are putting on it but I'd love to see this came come to PC.

Does anyone else have a feeling that this will play and feel like a Halo game, but with a just-as-interestingly-good storyline? Personally if it were a Halo skin on a new idea, I'd buy it, especially if it played like the old school Halos biggrin.gif

This is what I don't get, all the new consoles are x86, shouldn't that mean that if they started on PC, it would be easy(er) to port it to console, as well as making a better all round game?

What I always liked about Bungie was the artwork, I'm sure they won't disappoint. What I never liked was their default playlists like shotguns, infection, and the other crap...
