You'd think it would be harder to port back to the ps3 and 360 then it would be to port to the pc.

Then again I guess they might be developing for the 360 or ps3 to start with and porting to the ps4 and onebox. The game doesn't really instil much excitement if that's the case though.

Doubt it, they're really pushing Xbox exclusives for Xbox One. Too bad I'll never buy a console again.

Destiny is confirmed to be on at least PS4; Bungie isn't owned by MS anymore, so they're free (theoretically, at least) to develop for whatever platform they want.

I'm really hoping that they do make a PC version. Halo and Marathon have been great, and I've no doubt that this one will be great as well.

"Core" functions remain similar even on the 360, PS3 and PC. All the calculations that make the game work are going to be the same across the consoles, otherwise you end up with different gameplay. The architecture really doesn't make a huge difference in terms of portability; it's the platform's API. If the API's are the same, you can compile for any architecture your compiler lets you (ie. The API's are different, and the data returned from those API's may be different as well.

However, take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. I don't have any experience programming for the XBox or PS3 specifically.

I would really like this to be on PC, since I would prefer to not own any more consoles. Their restrictions are getting more and more ridiculous. It's as if they not only license us the software (i dont buy that, btw), they are licensing the hardware too. That's how it feels anyway.
