Yeah...wouldn't consider the BAC mono or whatever its called a supercar.

What a waste, with that money I'd rather go to an actual driving school.

we turn right sometimes. like to get on the track lol but yeah thats about it. why turn any other direction. left is best. just doesnt sound as good if you say right tongue.gif

The studio is probably banking on one idiot to buy this thing so they can pay off their development costs. Considering how stripped down GRID 2 is when compared to the original. I wouldn't be surprised if developing the sequel cost just that much.
You obviously have no idea what a "4 banger" can do these days. Bet you also didn't know that Ford is moving to a turbo 4 in the Stang. Ever heard of the Ariel Atom with it's NA Honda 4cyl also doing less than 3s 0-60? Weight ratio doesn't care about the number of cylinders! thumb.gif

EDIT: You can buy used super cars that haven't got many miles on the clock and are in almost new condition that are are 1/2, and sometimes up to 1/4 the original price.

And are prone to break down within a month of owning them resulting in repairs which cost more than the cars are worth. There's a reason they depreciate in value so badly. The parts aren't readily available after a few years and it would be incredibly dumb to buy one used. Why do you think you can get a Mercedes for about 15k when it is over 100k new?

For your information there are pleanty of right turns in America. I live in New Hampshire, northern that is up in the mountains. There are lots of bendy twisty fun roads to drive here. Hell where I live the town is on dirt roads, so I can choose to rally cross if I want, speed on dirt go hit up the tar and back to dirt.

why not just include tickets to BBC's Top Gear? that would seem like a funner package.

or, just have the cast of BBC's Top Gear hand deliver that special copy. i would happily accept that, instead.

or why not both?

I hear the wait to appear on Top Gear as one of the audience is....longer than a lifetime.

Plus, we all know Jeremy HATES this car.

Hardly anybody uses big blocks anymore. Aluminum small block/ crate engines have replaced them decades ago, which weigh much less than iron blocks that most boosted cars come stock with. For example the 7.0 liter V8 the Z06 uses is lighter and gets better gas mileage than the 3.8 liter V6 TT the GTR uses.
LS7s have made well over 700 crank horsepower without any forced induction, I guess they aren't efficient either.

American cars such as the Corvette and Viper are topping the charts in nearly every major track in the world... Somebody appears to be living in the past.

Here's a small example with some random Japanese and European cars.
Nürburgring
7:12:13 Dodge Viper ACR
7:19.63 Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1
7:22.68 Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06
7:24 Porsche 911 GT2 RS
7:24.22 Nissan GT-R
7:24.44 Pagani Zonda F Clubsport
7:32.92 Ferrari 458 Italia

Laguna Seca
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 1:33.70
Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR 1:33.92
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Z07 Package 1:34.43
McLaren MP4-12C 1:34.50
Devon GTX 1:35.08
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 1:35.40
Porsche 911 GT2 RS 1:35.56
Ferrari 458 Italia 1:36.22
Nissan GT-R 1:36.30

I guess they still can't turn. rolleyes.gif
