I noticed a huge difference going from a 7200rpm 32mb cache 640gb to a 1TB 10k velociraptor 64mb cache. Got it "White Label" new in box for around $175.

While still ~1/3 the speed of an SSD, it is the fastest mechanical drive available and literally twice as fast as my last one. SSDs are getting cheaper but still expensive if you want big storage...and IMO what's the point of an SSD if all your programs and games have to load from a slow drive anyway? Boot time is nice, but my PC is on 24/7 so I don't really care about that lol.

What kind of budget are you looking at for storage? If you've never had a SSD then you have no idea what you are missing. A $150 budget could score you both a decent SSD (60 Gb) and mechanical drive (1 Tb). Even some of the slowest SSDs blow the fastest mech drives out of the water.

My budget is around €250 (~$280-$280)

Here's my full part list:

AMD A6 5400K €55
MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 €57
Kingston HyperX blu 4GB DDR3 1600 kit €33
Corsair VS350 €31
Titan TTC-NK35TZ/PW €19
Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX 1TB €56

Total: €251

Does anyone have suggestions to fit an SSD in the build?

What country will you buying from so we can shop one online for you thumb.gif And on another note, even doh not *ALL* your program won't fit the SSD, your OS/browsers/cache/office/acrobat and the like will do, so you WILL notice a big difference.

As mentioned the 10000 rpm veliciraptor would be the best option if your sticking with a platter. . There are 500 gb versions of the raptor that are cheaper.
