I want haswell for more Intel SATA III ports and thats about it. Also seems to be a nice selection of performance oriented mATX boards.

On chip voltage regulation and the beefier iGPU.

So, as expected, it is all going to come down to overclocking.  4.5 @1.14V is pretty promising, although they didn't show any temps at those settings.

Integrated voltage regulator may increase the heat a small amount or something, upping the thermal design a few watts.

Sad... No improvement in the past 3 years.

Hope AMD catch up and bite em in the a$$ tongue.gif

2/2 reviews from china on haswell are saying its going to flop as it barely offers any improvements over ivy bridge besides the IGP increase - which still sucks. And next year, broadwell, is intels die shrink, so dont expect anything good till 2015. In the mean time AMD is cranking out 20%+ improvements...

Looks like intel has another weak release like ivy bridge was. Oh well.

Intel said their focus with Haswell was to cut power usage well maintaining the same performance. Intel claims Haswell will offer 50 percent more battery life in laptops without decreasing performance.

Haswell wasn't targeted at the desktop market, it was targeted at the laptop/tablet market.
