lol @ comparing this chip to a Surface Pro.

Compare the A8-5545M (19W + 2.7W FCH = 21.7W) to the i5-3317U (17W + 4.1W PCH = 21.1W)... don't compare the 3317U to the the 3.9-8W (including FCH) Temash chips.

(low settings)
◾BioShock Infinite: Ivy 44% faster
◾Tomb Raider: Ivy 93% faster
◾Crysis 3: Ivy 138% faster
◾Hitman: Absolution: Ivy 44% faster
◾COD: BO: Ivy 61% faster
◾Dishonored: Ivy 78% faster
◾Counter Strike: Go (they didn't included HD4000): HD3000: 307% faster
◾Sleeping Dogs: Ivy 42% faster
◾Dirt Showdown: (HD4000 not included): HD3000 95% faster
◾Diablo 3: Ivy 85% faster
◾Anno 2070: Ivy 40% faster
◾Skyrim: HD3000: 33% faster
◾Battlefield 3: Ivy 56%

Not to say that one is better than another, just grounding these facts in reality that better represent what these specs mean.

Not only is temash not competing with ivy bridge, the HD4000 is as broad as saying geforce 7 series.. there are different clock speeds and the ULV versions suck with turbo freq. Your numbers are completely worthless in this discussion. Go troll harder.

Well, it would suck for certain things, but you can always add a bluetooth kb or a trackpad. biggrin.gif
Plus, I would mainly grind stuff with my knight (hello, enchanted peach trees), so it would be pretty simple with touch controls.

Can Pentium or i3 fit in a fanless tablet? Just curious since it's being compared to Temash so much.

If you make the tablet 2 inches thick wink.gif

In all seriousness the Temash is a beast for the amount of power it consumes.

Too bad Apple does not support AMD CPU's thanks to Steve Job, an Intel fanboi. >_>

Microsoft is also biased to Intel, they din't made 64bit Windows ultil Intel get it in 2006-2007 from AMD x86-64bit implementation that was much better than Itaniums.

True. Jobs was the biggest Intel fanboy ever known to mankind.
