I need your opinions on something. I've been thinking about this for most of the day. Here it goes. Should I add a second 670 P/E, or just buy a 780? The way I see it, if I add a second 670 I'd be saving at least 350 dollars (rough estimate). I could use that saved money to buy a new desk and some audio upgrades. Since I value the opinions of the members here, I'd like to hear what you guys think. Thanks!

single 1080p or Surround and 3 x 1080p @ 5760 x 1080p...?
if a single 1080p then the only thing I can see is the 2GB of VRAM in the 670's, I have SLi 670 PE/OC's.
you might be fine for now, bigger resolution then more VRAM, 1080p is the limit for 2GB's.
I do not play Skyrim with mods so I do not have any VRAM issues.

you have the motherboard for SLi and you can turn up your overclock and have a really nice rig.
tough call.

Single 1080p for now. Will be grabbing a 30 inch down the road. I had my 3570k@ 4.6 but turned it down for the summer. I like my rig now, but that 780 is making it difficult on me right now lol.

I'm keeping my SLi PE/OC's in my Surround unit but with my 1080p unit I too am selling to go either GTX 770 OC'd or GTX 780.
so I can relate to what your going through and will be paying attention...

Well, after much thought, and talking to myself like a buffoon in public I decided to grab another 670 P/E. Should be here Wednesday. I'm very excited. I'll wait for the 800 series.

I saw that. I always check people's rigs. I like seeing what people have. It just seemed like the better option for me right now financially. Saved some good cash, and bought myself a really nice desk today. Now I can actually see the inside of my rig instead of having it on hardwood with the window against the wall. Derp. tongue.gif
