Need direction on new rig for a musician/gamer

Hello everyone,

This is my first OC.net post, so I hope I am in the right spot!

I am in need of a new PC. My current computer is an AMD Phenom II, 4 gigs of ram, GT 430 GPU.

I have two expectations for this new computer:
1. To be able to play the newest games on a large TV in 1080p.
2. To be able to run DAW music recording software and record with it.
3. It must be small enough to move.

The case I was thinking of is the BitFenix Prodigy, but I have read that it doesn't fit larger cards (e.g. GTX 680). Can anyone confirm?
Hardware I was thinking:

CPU: i5 3570k
Mobo: Undecided
Ram: 16 Gb
GPU: 2 GTX (670)(SLI)
Cooling recommendation needed.

I have a few SSDs that I will reuse.

Is this an outrageous thought? Or if I want that kind of power am I stuck with a full ATX case? Thanks so much! I look forward to your responses!

If you want SLI you wont be able to use mini itx boards, you will need to get matx.( I believe u cant fit SLI in a prodigy)

Hey, Thanks for clearing that up!

What about one of those HTPC Cases from Silverstone? They definitely seem like they would a m-atx board with a lot of room to spare. Thoughts? I know I would make life a lot easier by just sticking to a tower, but I really want something a little more low-profile this time around!

Thanks again!

You could buy a GTX 670 mini abouttocrash, such as this one - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-305-AS

Supposed to be suitable for mini atx motherboards.
