First time OC'ing my build

Thread Starter
Alright, so I built my newest computer back in January. I eventually want to upgrade the cooling more and go towards a dual-gfx card setup as well as improve my monitors. For the time being, I want to overclock my cpu. My build should be in my signature, but in case it's not, Here's the link.

I don't expect a guide built just for me, but is there a guide out there for 3770k and a gigabyte board? I've looked around and couldn't find one. Most of the ones I found were for other CPUs and other brands of motherboards. I'm still brand new to OCing, so as detailed as it can get it appreciated.

Thank you!

It's really just about playing around with it until you get something stable. Do some general overclocking reading, and go from there. It isn't that difficult.

Thanks. I'm familiar with Linus. Very good quality videos. I should have thought of him earlier.

Perfect.

I wanted to add, I'm currently using a 500W power supply from my old build since the one I bought was dented when it came. There was a huge hassle with returning it so I just kind of left it there and haven't thought about it since. Should I wait on overclocking until I get the 600W I was planning on getting? Is 500 enough, or does it not effect this?

500W should still be ok for that.
