Hello there and to all, firts sorry if my english is not perfect tongue.gif, i come here by suggestions of reviews, other forums and because here are one of the best comunity of overclock, i'm finding some help about an XFX 7950 DD FX-795A-TDFC, i buy it from Amazon, expecting it, it will take some weeks so, i have time to prepare and learn, i want to OC that baby i see and review that this card have a little boost 100 mhz from the core default 800 mhz, i have see from the people of Vortez that they boost the clock to 1100 mhz and 1500 mhz the memory (http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/xfx_dd_r7950_review,9.html) but i want to know if i can go with that OC with CCC utility i'm not interest in a BIG OC but at least 1050 mhz can be nice so i want to know if i can do it with CCC or if i need to do something else or other things and if i put the core to 1050 mhz, what memory speed i should put, and in CCC what means power +/- in terms of 20%, thanks in advance, greetings and hugs from Venezuela to all the comunity members and staff smile.gif

You could do 1050 with CCC itself, but i'd suggest you do your OC with MSI AfterBurner or Sapphire Trixx, the latter i'm not sure whether it'd work on XFX. With AfterBurner, you get a whole lot of options and measuring tools right on your screen which are missing in CCC.

I can put the core at 1100 mhz and the memory at 1500 mhz with aftherburner easy or i need some instructions before doing it ?, if so you can give me some steps dude, i'm something like new in the area, i have OC other videos but with CCC and at low grade because the artifacts appear, and i don't know wich values i need to put in the voltage settings or other stuff so if you can give teach me, that will be very helpful and i would greatly appreciate it smile.gif, thanks in advance dude thumb.gif

well with video cards, theres a simple rule, You jump the core speed in 10-15 Mhz, apply those setting and then bench the card with softwares like Unigine Heaven 4.0 or Unigine Valley 1.0 or 3D Mark 2013. If you get artifacts or your system crashes with a blue screen, you bump up the voltage by .05v and then bench again. Repeat this until the artifacts go away or the system does not crash with your desired core clock.

I did it this way and i reached 1175Mhz on my 7850 with memory at 1250Mhz. but you could even do 1200Mhz but then it all depends on your chip.
