[Work Log] Custom wood water-cooling build (first time watercooling / professional carpenter)

I build and remodel homes for a living. Well actually I'm a carpenter and aspiring general contractor. I'm 26 years old but have been tinkering with tools and making things with wood since I was 10. For the past 7 years I have been a full time carpenter doing framing, siding, interior/exterior trim, custom cabinets, and furniture.

I saw a couple of wood cases and desk builds that really caught my eye. I picked up some decent watercooling parts (I think), and want to take a crack at it. Mostly because I've gone through 5 cases in the last year and none of them ever seem to satisfy my needs. I think it's time I build my own. I'm not sure if I want to use a regular case (more than likely a Fractal) and build a rad box, or if I want to just go all out and make the whole thing out of wood.

Materials used will include (but not limited to, as this is still in planning and not being executed yet):

Heart Pine
Red Oak
Cedar
Poplar
Birch

Mostly because these woods don't break the bank, are readily available locally, and I will be using in my current job so I can take scraps home for free.

What I already have an plan to use in the build are listed here:

Black Ice GT 360mm Radiator with Shroud and 3x Thermalright 120mm fans
Black Ice GT 240mm Radiator with Shroud and 2x Thermalright 120mm fans

Items I currently have that may or may not be used:

Bitspower 80ml acrylic res
XSPC RS240mm rad
Intel Core i7-3770K (might go to 4770K)
ASRock Extreme6 Z77 (might go to Z87)
Seasonic X-650 Gold (might need more power depending on GPUs
I have about 40 various fans, 120mm and 140mm, some high end, some average

Items I plan on purchasing for sure:

Swiftech MCP655

Items I haven't decided on (and looking for suggestions)

Size of tubing/fittings
GPUs
Better reservoir
More rads
CPU/GPU blocks

Thanks for looking, I will update as I make more progress. The more interest generated in this project the better, as it will encourage me to go bigger and finish faster! Wish me luck!

I need to start taking pictures of my work. Here's a few I scrounged up that I found on my phone just so you guys know I'm serious:

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 85
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 85

I plan on building it to match my desk I built last year:

Subbed. Looks interesting. What do you plan to do for EMI shielding in the case?

I'm not sure, is that really even necessary? I suppose I could line the inside of the case with sheet metal but I rather not.
