Can my PSU handle Crossfire?

Thread Starter
I'm thinking about getting another Sapphire 7950 Vapor-X and run them in crossfire and I was wondering if my power supply has enough power to run everything.

My power supply is this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341049

I know I need to get another pair of 6+2 PCI-E cables so I was thinking about getting something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812198016

Thanks

No problem at all running 2 cards.

Pick yourself up a Kill-A-Watt (http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/7657/) if you still have any question about it, and you will see that you probably pull no more than 200w at idle, and maybe approach 700 or so under full cpu and gpu load depending on your processor.

You can run an i5 3570k oced + 7950 crossfire without problems! thumb.gif

Edit. Why you need 6+2 pci cables if that psu have 2 x 6-Pin, 2 x 6+2-Pin. Perfect to the 7950's that you want
