Yes, blue switches are great for gaming because of its loud, tactile feel. As long as you don't mind the noise, you will love using a cherry mx blue keyboard. Any keyboard from great PC peripheral manufacturers such as Corsair, Ducky, Logitech, Filco, or Razer should give you a great experience.

The only bad thing about the Cherry MX Blues is they're not good for double-tapping if you have an extremely polished technique. Although, if you're like me and you just hit the key two times in a row for your double-tap (where you'd see your finger release the key all the way in slow-motion), then the Cherry MX Blues will be fine.

I like my blues for gaming. I noticed that browns also feel pretty nice for it as well. They are less tiring on the fingers than blues, so I guess they're better for typing.

Yeah, the Cherry MX Blues are just about the best mechanical switches for typing.

Browns over blues, reds, and blacks... Highly dependant on individual though

Blues are good you can't go wrong with them in my opinion.

all switches are great for gaming and it all comes down to preference too. Anyone telling you X switch is better than Y for gaming is just delusional and indoctrinated
