help with updates!

Thread Starter
so im about to finish my build and im wondering what i need to update.
after i finish installing windows what do i need to install?
motherboard drivers? update bios? install gpu drivers?

Here's my install order:

1) Chipset
2) Any HDD/SSD software
3) Video
4) Audio
6) Lan/Wifi
7) Anything else

The order doesn't really matter though, but I always install the chipset first. Don't bother flashing the BIOS unless you're missing a feature or your BIOS version is unstable.

i got an asus p8z77-v mobo but it didnt come with the manual or cd so tell me if i forget anything that i need to install.

chipset
audio
VGA
lan
utilities
then sata.

the mobo is manufacturer refurbished so im assuming is up to the current bios(il check when im done with everything^
also im doing a ssd raid 0 setup and i play on updating the ssd's first.
and windows 8 will be installed on the ssd raid 0 setup. i have a 750gb seagate which will be my regular hdd
so here is my complete "guide"

1.update ssd's
2.put ssd's in raid 0
3.install windows 8
4.install motherboard things
5.install gpu drivers
6.optimize windows 8

is this right?^^

and also for the "utilities" it says i must have Microsoft .NET 3.5 for Lucid Virtu Universal MVP. so how do i install that or is it auto installed.

one last thing, i downloaded the files and they came in .RAR format. there is no 1 executable file. for example- "intel lan" there is a whole bunch of ini files and stuff like that then there is one called autorun.exe is that the program i run to update?

here is the link of the folders http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z77V/#support_Download_36
