Upped the fan to 60% (from 40%, aut) and temps and wattage dropped, 260W just by getting down the GPU temps. Dropped mem to 1000MHz (from 1375MHz) and saw a further drop in watts, now it's hovering around 250W, completion times seems to be about the same, maybe a tad longer.
Though it seems I can't find the setting for running more than one WU at the time, I've found it on other projects under the preferences for that project on their page. How do I do that for MOO?
Strange, I thought Moo would be better for PPD on your card then 290k. But 26mins IS about 300k - 340k a day... I only have experience with my 5770 and it can get 150k or so a day.
I'm just assuming here, but I would be very surprised if MooWrapper would benefit with running more than one WU. It uses little to no CPU and naturally uses all your GPU, but I would really love to hear someone who has tried it and what the results were.
Just did a quick google and found THIS
thread, looks like there is maybe a 10% increase in running two units.Moo app_info (Click to show)
I wouldn't even bother trying but that app info should get you two at once.
Donate@home is always an option too, but a lot of people here don't like running it. It probably would net you more PPD than MooWrapper.
