i know what u mean , but i didnt meant to the extreme touching the door ... lol i meant more into that area , with like 5mm of spacing , using the biggest waterblock(gpu) out there as a standard smile.gif

the midplate wont give any ridgity lol look at how massive that aluminum sheet is , i bet its 5mm LOL , whats gonna help is the back panel for sure

Not entirely sure what you mean, from the looks of it, it appears to be about as wide as it should be. Add flexibility/options >>> 1/2" saved in width

I doubt his backplat is going to be any bigger than the one I made for my TJ07. The backplate helps but the midplate definitely helps with rigidity. Mobo+waterblock+GPUs make everything pretty darn heavy.

1. since its going to a watercooling case ( itx ) , why the space in the motherboard area ? , it doesnt need a CPU cooler perse , making that area closer to the "door" would allow you to put a full PSU in there , and probably make it even smaller the case ( at least a little bit thinner )

2. I would put the PSU at top instead of the reservoir , i dont know why , maybe its for safety or looks lol

3. you could eliminate the mid plate as a roof for the rad holders , and use the floor instead , making the midplate just a add on that is not important to the case , so that you could attach it somewhere else , because those "holes" in the front of the case kills it for me , in terms of design lol

4. where the SSD and HDDs will be ? AT least one SSD and one HDD would be awesome smile.gif

5. i bet we can make it smaller lol

This case has been requested by a few people to be mATX capable and its needs to accommodate 300mm GPU's,this is why there is the necessary clearances.
You could make the case smaller but this will make it extremely difficult for tube routing in and out of the rad bay as you will require clearance from the rads.

The left over CF from the doors will make panels for the SSD's and HDD to sit on,this will be bolted to the case using mother board standoffs, probably into the body in the PSU side will 4 mm blind theads,SSD's in the PSU bay,HDD probably in the rad bay on the midplate or the PSU bay.

The PSU fitted is a scale AX850,full size so im not sure what you mean?

As for the res,its just where I would fit it,you can put it wherever you like.

Here is an EK 150 size res...

The aqualis is much bigger than than most other res available so makes an excellent test res for clearances.

Plus,I quite like them.

Also, the midplate and backplate form the mounts for the tray, you noticed its not bolted thru the unibody? All the panels are 5mm Alu to allow for secret threading ,not CSK'd the back plate yet tho.

well . so far so good then smile.gif
are you going to make it yourself or its gonna be outsource ? and when is it going to be ready , is this the final design ? is this your first "scratch build" ?

A lot of this is outsourced right now,I dont have a bender capable of bending 5 mm Alu and the back plate needs extensive machining.
The threading and ancillaries I can do.

SSD mount......already out of date as im going to use CF plates and stack them, getting 3-4 SSD's in the footprint of one

Door design, the bottom opening will be meshed,Solidworks doesnt have a decent mesh material unfortunately.
