Wrong bio settings?!?

Okay lets see if I can say this right...
So about 3 months ago I added a SSHD for my OS and I changed the bio settings to AHCI from ATA and installed windows 7 and formatted the old SATA drive that was running my OS to be used as a install drive (programs and games). Well after doing that when I click on my SATA drives it take like 5 to 10sec before they open, like they are sleep or AHCI doesn't work well on my SATA HDs but I'm unsure if I can just turn it off on my SATA HS's , is it something in bio i need to change to fix this problem.

I'll try to record it and show you soon

There's nothing wrong with your AHCI settings or drivers. Sounds like your SATA hard drives are going to sleep -- that's a setting in Windows 7/8 Power Management.

Go to Control Panel, System, Power Options, and then edit your current Power Plan, go into Advanced Settings, and set "Turn off hard disk" to something higher or disable it.
