I have mine modestly clocked at 3.0. I was trying to go further but it wasnt cooperating. Not sure what batch I have unfortunately. Its on water and idles around 28C and maxes at 39C. I know I should be able to reach further but either Im not being bold enough on the voltages or my RAM seems to be getting pritty hot. I put a small fan on the chipset and that helped a bit. I figure this is a good start for a beginner though =)

Just for the record, I'm doing 3.205Ghz on my setup, the week is L626A. Frankly, if it wasn't for the fact that the motherboard doesn't like D9 ram past 460FSB, I'm pretty confident I could go for 3.4 w/o to much pain.

Right now I'm only @ 1.325VCore... was @ 1.275VCore for 3.01Ghz.

And I've got alot of headroom temp wise -- never tops 53C full load W/TAT, 50 W/ORTHOS and a very modest 46 w/ Folding@Home

On the same topic, how does your new chip perform Sladesurfer?

Means that I'm going to make the surface of my CPU flat by sanding it.

= better contact for the heatsink, therefore better temperatures.
