Corsair M60 vs M65 (newer model)

I've heard some people say the older M60 is the better mouse, what do you guys think?

I'm heading to Fry's right now where I believe they have both these mice in stock and on sale, I might get whichever one is better. Or I might opt for the 29.99 Logitech G400 deal.

m65 has a9800 sensor with input lag, has smoothing so 8200 dpi look less jittery. iirc it wasnt fixed yet, unlike on other a9800 mice.

you should grab g400 if it fits your hand. m60/65 is too heavy

I went ahead and ordered the M60. I actually felt the M65 in my hand and i really like the chassis, the M60 is the same but with the older/better sensor.

I own a M65.
I chose it over the M60 because the only difference is the M65 has more DPI. There might be more, but that was the only thing I noticed in specs. I would get the M65 if you want a higher choice of DPI.

Apparently theres some kind of input lag on the m65, due to the adns-9800 sensor, canybody confirm that?

Better to read Corsair forum directly rather than this,

And yes, if I see things right there indeed is input lag on M65. So I will take M60 over it. No one is crazy enough to update for 2500 DPI, even 5700 DPI is an overkill. However the M65 has 2.5X more durability than M60, 20 millions switch rating is something.

The M60 have 8 million click rating. Hmm, I wonder is it possible to switch out the switches for the new ones? So you have the M60 laser with the M65 switches.
