About how long a wait for an MSI Twin Frozr GTX 780?

Thread Starter
I have a GTX580 Lightning Xtreme that I absolutely love, it has been able to play almost everything maxed out for the last few years with the exception of the most recent games. I was also able to overclock it heavily and still have it stay relatively cool because of how effecient the Twin Frozr design is. I skipped the 600 series because the performance gains would be moot for the price, however the performance jump from the 580 to the 780 looks too good rolleyes.gif

Because I'm going to wait to see what MSI brings out, I'm wondering how long it normally takes before we start seeing them popping up on Newegg.

Thanks!

MSI hasn't announced a TF 780 yet, only a reference-based model.

If you can't wait the undetermined amount of time that it'll take for MSI to release a TF 780, I'd highly recommend the EVGA 780 ACX. Its new cooler design is quite nice.

EDIT: Here's a review of the model I mentioned...

Wait for Computex Taiwan, first week of June. Several manufacturers will make their announce there, I do know that Asus will unveil their DC2 based GTX 780. Expect something similar from MSI. I'm not sure if a lightning is in the works, but that sure would be nice wink.gif

TLDR: Next week at Computex. Many aftermarket 780s from what I hear are being unveiled - Keep an eye out.
