Help me build the right Gaming computer!! - Page 2

Something along these lines. With a bit more searching, I'm sure you can fit everything you "need" into your budget. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Or if you don't care about colors matching you can really shave some prices off.

You don't need a full case, for that rig.
You can get CM storm enforcer or CM Storm Scout $79 both of them, (newegg), or Cooler Master HAF 922 $89, and save money for
a better graphic card (amd 7950 or 660ti)
WD Blue TB 3.5 Inch, 7200 RPM, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64 MB Cache $64.99 (newegg, amazon)
Creative SB Recon3D THX PCIE Sound Card SB1350 $69.89 (amazon)
For those last two, if you have account with Fry's or Microcenter, they can give you a price match...

You don't need a sound card for gaming.

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Redwoodz/saved/1ER5 total $1199.

Obviously the peripheral's are more personal choice.

If your gaming you'll want good processor, you don't need a 6 core as gaming only uses max 2..Also a good graphics card. Build your system around those 2 things and you should come out good

When I read the title I was about to say get the most expensive and powerful hard you can buy and it will be fine but when I saw the budget... hmmm well its going to be a little tougher.
My recommendation would be to get a good mobo, a decent 4 core cpu, 8gb of ram and a great VGA, the rest you can upgrade later. you can go 6 or 8 cores if you want. but if its a gaming pc focus mainly on the VGA. the more powerful the better.

edit: I now remembered everything in my country is more expensive. lolz... to think my pc is worth $2800 here and probably out there is around half that... i hate my country.

I know I want a blue ray burner and I'm pretty set on the case I've chosen but beyond that I'm not really sure.

Are you sure you want a full tower? I went normal Full ATX, then ATX, then mATX. Love smaller computers. Almost want to go MiniITX now.

If you do go mATX, go with the Fractal Design Arc Mini like I have!!! Best case I've EVER used.

I would really try and get an AMD Radeon 7950 in there if I where you. I wouldn't go anything lower than that. Also buy it new and you can sell the game coupons on ebay and make some of your money back.

Here is a computer I built for someone else on the cheap http://www.3dmark.com/fs/257242

This is my computer which cost a little bit more and got a much lower score despite it being clocked higher on the cpu side. http://www.3dmark.com/fs/257242

If you are going to go AMD I really think you should try to get a 8350 in there if Intel then try to get a 2500k or a 3570k.

With that budget you could build a nice a computer... Don't cheap out on the CPU and the GPU.
