Since you only have to sticks of ram, you could get some nice ramsinks and take your ram farther instead of the HSF. OOOh or ever better yet get an aftermarket cooler for the G80 and oc it lol.

Well as long as I have this CPU there is no point in getting something better for my ram. My CPU just has a bad stepping I guess. My temps are really nice ... 39C on full load @2.5 ghz. But I can't get it to boot at 2.7 at all. Don't know what it is. I guess I got screwed on the CPU.

Probly not dude, that sli-dr expert has some crazy ass settings in it that could probably push you to 2.7 stable even with bad stepping lol. but your right 39c load isnt bad and really a dx10 card would almost top your system off perfectly providing you have enough power from your psu available.

See thats what I thought. But I tried the "find your max cpu speed" and at 2.7 it *****s itself. I tried it with X10 and X11. I am getting a new BIOS as we speak. Maybe that will fix it. It Better haha

my vote goes toward getting a 7900 series GPU, so you can have a better GFX card for the moment, no need to get an 8800 when you can save that money for a R600 or 8600... when vista is actually out...

Yeah but see here is the deal. I don't want to spend $200 on a graphics card right now that I would be upgrading in about 6 month. The only reason why I am considering getting it RIGHT NOW is because I would only have to pitch in like $200 on the card. If I was to buy the card later I would have to pay the FULL price. That's why I thought it would be nice to get the 8800GTS. But yeah I don't know if my dad will buy it or not... I hope he will haha
