OP get a HD 7950 for single monitor 1080p gaming. overclock it to 1100 - 1150 mhz and match HD 7970 Ghz perf. most games should be easily playable at max settings. few like crysis 3 you should run at lower AA. if you want to spend the extra money on HD 7970 thats your choice, at the same clocks HD 7950 is 5% slower than HD 7970.
