Not sure on that but I believe AMD will reduce the prices of their 7000 series for now.

probably not most amd fans are gonna stick with amd and wait it out while nvidia fans or people who like either one is gonna jump on whichever comes out first and if amd is stronger they just switch to them lol. Either way both company's are great.

It's not just about which one is stronger but also which one is the best bang for buck. When it comes to this, price really matter. We can expect price drops for 600 or 7000 series after 700 series come out.

You could wait for 760 because the performance is expected to be around 660 Ti and the price at 199 bucks.

In which case the 7970 is also 2 for 800 bucks and is equal to a 7990. It's about who you want really

Seems like the OP wanna have more a lil chat than resolving his hardware problems quickly, no offense.

No its not a problem for me at all iam in no rush to upgrade I was actually thinking about trying either the titan or 7990 -I can game with these gpus no problem but I wanna make sure I make the right choice blowing $1000 dollars per gpu is no pocket change lol ( well to some people it is ) Also seems like the price on the 7970s is increasing or whats going on there? For a while they were declining but recently started to climb again ( wonder why ) what 7970 would u guys says overclocks the best? Any voltage unlocked? Sorry if I was getting off topic

no don't get 770

only difference between 770 and 680 is
-awesome cooler on 770
-7ghz memory
-gpu boost 2
-quieter fan

reason why i think 770 is bad is
-8+6 pci-e power
-same or almost same performance as 680
-it is same gk104 core as 680
-2gb of vram (4gb available)
-not much performance difference compared to 680
-only 3 way sli

770 review
it sometimes looses over 680 and 7970

if you are going to get 700 series card, 780 is the best since it performs nearly as well as titan but isn't expensive as titan

I want to know what motherboard you are using/ you are going to be using
