If I upgrade my gpus id like to give away my crossfired 6970s to 1 lucky member on ocn- Help me pick something? - Page 20

Coming from 2 670 FTW's in SLI I can only imagine what it would be like on x2 780's / Titan's or 7990's. I've always been somewhat biased to NVIDIA due to the fact that's what I was introduced to but that being said I've also had AMD and never had any complaints or issues out of it.

My personal opinion and if I were going to spend the money I would get x2 / x3 780's. Now if spacing and other things were an issue, I would definitely go with Dual-GPU cards..

Per socket, coming from LGA2011 that's what I would go with. Extra CPU horsepower, extra PCI-E lanes, more RAM, nothing short of a beastly setup!

On the flip side, giveaways are always appreciated here on OCN, and I want to thank you for what you're doing! thumb.gif

And they dont even force profiles
I don't see any reviewers talking about well uhmm, "profiles/troubleshoot" or whatever. If that really matter for gaming benchmark, why they didn't mention it?
By the way, I can't understand the part when you said "Rarely you found a good sli/cf review let alone 4 gpu review".

Here is an image for you showing 2 gpus can perform worst than a single gpu let alone 4 gpus.

For your information, 4 gpus usually perform very bad in gaming @ 1080p. If I'm not mistaken, the original poster has a single monitor @ 1920x1080p and 4 gpus are definitely useless.

Do NOT get a 7990 or 7970 in crossfire you get a crap ton of micro stutter - if you want something that'll last you awhile get 780 or titan in sli or if that's too much get a pair of 770s

Really? You post WoW to compare 4 6990? doh.gif

No point to even answer to you anymore. I will go smash my head in a wall to forget...

He already uses 6970 CF

I'm sure if won't feel any smoother or more stuttery

Seems like you forgot to answers my questions or that you don't have any logical reason to counter it. You don't want WoW? I can give more if you want. Its never hurt to ask more instead of stopping and put an emoticon to conclude everything. happysmiley.gif

I suppose you could say that except my last two gpu configs have been 6970CF and currently an Asus Matrix Platinum 7970@1250mhz

Sooo no. I recommend what I think is the best for the situation and nvidia destroys ati for multi card gaming setups. Your fanboyism is showing.

I have already answer these questions for you. You just dont have the knowledge to actually understand.

An example of using profiles on CCC. Its not that hard its like changing resolution. On the most of the reviews they have like 1-2 days to run the card and do like 10 games bench +temps, noise. And then write the guide. Do you think they have the time to troubleshoot and make it working? Do you think that 4 gpus works perfect out of the box?

Do you know what is even funnier? When nz3777 says that his fx-6100 feels so smooth. Search the thread if you don't believe me. Maybe his definition of smooth is quite bad. smile.gif
