Well thank you for correcting my English for me I appricate it, better yet what have you done on ocn that made you a better person? Other then of course checking peoples threads for miss-spelling? Iam trying to do something nice and you have to come in here and try and bash me? That's really messed up! I would say your either a kid or some kind of snob that lives with mommy and daddy and gets whatever he asks for! .............. Instead of focusing on my spelling I think you should worry about your people skills and how to talk to people! Have a nice day

It was not my intention to upset you, only to give some advice on how to help us give you better suggestions. I am 31, married and living on my own, but thank you for your concerns there. I actually wanted to come in and give advice to assist you, but it's very difficult to follow you since your thought process is all over the place. You have chosen a topic, however, that people on OCN love which is AMD vs. Nvidia, so your thread has gotten a ton of responses like all AMD vs Nvidia threads do.

If you would like my suggestion, I would not quadfire your 6970s with a 6990 because not only is that a power hungry solution, but the drivers are a headache and the scaling between GPUs is worse as you add more. I would either go with a pair of 7970s or 780s along with a new 3770K or 4770K processor (when it gets released). You are going to get 1,000 different suggestions, but ultimately it is a decision you have to make.
well next time just let it go different people spell in different ways I wanna ask you this does it prevent you from understanding his sentence? I think not. So I'd you can understand it just ignore it a carry on. Just my opinion.

Anyway again I recommend and for the price/performance ratio

NP PS the 780 gtx is based off from the titan so get whichever is cheaper they offer the same performance

Found a few articles about how much more of a deal the 780 is and it performs like a titan for a cheaper price

http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2013/05/23/meet-nvidias-new-gtx-780-titan-like-performance-for-350-less/

http://www.brightsideofnews.com/news/2013/5/28/gtx-780-review-e28093-a-slumbering-titan-and-a-great-upgrade.aspx

And here's a some benchmarks the 780 is only one fps behind the titan and most games and even beats it in crysis http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-TITAN-vs-GeForce-GTX-780

1 recommendation I want to give you
4 gpu isn't a good idea

driver issues
micro stuttering
not that effective
scaling issues

maximum # of graphic cards you should get is 3 (my opinion)

The Recommendation

If you are going to stick towards one monitor then the reality is that with graphics cards so powerful only 2-way SLI is a viable solution (you use the hottest games that are GPU limited). So up-to 2560x1600 that 3rd card really isn't gonna matter a lot, unless you like to break synthetic benchmark records.

Once you pass a monitor resolution of 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 that's where a third card starts to make a difference, and as you have seen, not everywhere, but it'll make a difference here and there though.

Our recommendation as such is simple, with a single monitor setup like 1920x1080/1200 your maximum number of GTX Titan cards should be a maximum of one.
Now, if you have that nice 30" monitor with a 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 resolution, that's where a 2nd card could matter.
Once you reach multi monitor gaming. If you're going to be using 3 monitors at 5760x1080/1200 that's where a 3rd card would make some sense. Realistically though two are already sufficient.
Processor power then. Each time we publish an article on multi-GPU solutions we read it on the forums, "you should be using a faster test platform". Hence we used a X79 / Core i7 3960 Extreme processor clocked at 4600 MHz. These two components alone cost 1200 EUR (excluding the liquid cooling), with multi-GPU gaming they do show an increase in performance. You do need to wonder though if the 10~15% performance increase in lower resolutions really justifies that money, but obviously if you can afford two or three GTX Titan cards, you probably will go for the best and fastest infrastructure as well.

I would hope people enter that are honest and can give me a LEGIT reason why I should pick them-4 example my first gpu was a radeon 6570 I didn't have money for anything more so I know the feeling of having low end stuff,I would honestly try and pick a winner that needed it the most! And yes I agree lets split up the cards to 2 winners instead of giving both to just 1 winner!thumb.gif
Iam about to play metro last light so the world wont know of my exsistence until I finish the game lol,I will catch up with you guys in a bit and as usualy thank you very much for all the great advice- I have a list I keep of everyones opinions!

Well I understand if it goes to someone else who needs it more,
I actually wanted to help point out that what I suggest is what I really suggest lol.. I like to post to help out.

Thought it'd be a bonus if I can get the cards, not to re-sell but currently building my gf's pc and didn't get her a gpu yet, Waiting for a good deal on the market place as her build is costly to me
the free gpu's would help out greatly

again was just a bonus for me, i go into forums to help out with advices

Its not that I'm recommending titan to you

^

Which is why I mentioned Tri SLI Titans > Dual 7990

People just look at the specs and assume
How ever even tri isn't that great either, best bang for buck actually is just a dual SLI of 2 single cards

and please consider the Vram as more and more games coming out uses up a lot more vram than 3gb
