PSU for Bitfenix Prodigy

Well, I kinda got myself into a bind. I picked up a Bitfenix Prodigy the other day to throw some of my spare parts on a mITX board and go. The problem now is my psu. I was skimming through some builds in this case and getting an idea of what components people could fit into them. Right off the bat I had seen someone had a Seasonic x650 Gold in one of their builds and I figured I was set because I had one of them conveniently sitting here. Well I didn't take into consideration that the build was done with the ribbon type cables of the newer x650's and I have an older version with the bundled cables. So right now I am using an old CX430 just because it was the only psu that will fit other than an older Raidmax that I don't really have to much faith in. Now I am looking for a nice power supply for this build. I see that the Silverstone Striders will fit just great in these builds but I have grown quite fond of the ribbon style cables on my Seasonic 660w Platinum PSU. Now I am just looking and getting pretty desperate to find a psu that has these type of cables at an affordable price. I mean, worse comes to worse I guess I can just go with an overkill x650 with the ribbon cables but I really would rather not.

The power supply doesnt need too much juice, it is only powering:

i5 3570k
HD 7870
2x 4GB RAM
128 GB SSD
1 TB HDD
3 Fans

I will gladly appreciate some tips from the PSU buffs if possible and will +rep accordingly. Thank you in advance. thumb.gif

Silverstone ST55F 550W Gold

Would work nicely for that build.

Or a bit cheaper ST60F-P 600W Bronze

Right now im not limited by a budget, that's why I had been looking for different options. I know someone who has that power supply so I may have to borrow that to see if it would fit with the flat cables but I believe that is the exact same size as a Seasonic x650.

I know the Silverstone SFF's are made for these types of cases and they might ultimately be what I end up getting. I am just looking for something smaller with the ribbon type cables, I know thats kind of picky but I am not sure if something exists like that or not and am hoping someone knows about them. But thank you both for your input. thumb.gif
