Don't know of a single person who managed to get AVX to work.

Maybe this is some Integrated video processing shebang that we won't benefit from?

Would be awesome if someone with the knowledge can come and elaborate further on this AVX dealio.

With the correct field of view, cockpit is great and is the most realistic. However, most games have limited FOV adjustment and make it feel like you're sitting in the back seat.

The whole arms/steering wheel thing has always bothered me too. I have both right in front of me, I don't need animated ones in game. Thankfully some games allow them to be turned off.

Runs butter smooth for me on ultra 4xAA, think avg. is around 60 fps. No stuttering, no pauses or anything, really impressed. But there is something wrong with shadows me thinks. They don't disappear on time. They stay like 1 second longer. Not sure what's that about.
Think? avg 60 USE that benchmark Built into the game slick tongue.gif

and AVX every where i have looked says it supports AVX but not ONE instance of a post thread or website to confirm this for grid 2 frown.gif
post #28 of 123
ok some things i learned

game looks great, and performance is great too even on my gtx460

1440*900, cmaa, all ultra = 44 fps
no cmaa, fxaa on = 44fps
disabling soft ssao = 47fps
dx11+no tessellation = 47
force dx10+no tessellation = 99fps lol

i was going to play in dx10 mode, but noticed this disabled cmaa, and also disable some FX, like the reflection lights when you brake, and other stuff

that aside, i hate the stupid guy talking to you in race, shut uppppppppppppppp, linking park help me here, shut upppppppppp, shut uppppp, i´m about to break......................., this was the same crap as GRID1, so speech volume to zero

I'm enjoying it sofar, but I still prefer the first grid.. This one seems very gimicky with all the 'fan' stuff rather winning money.. Some of the decals on the cars look absolutely horrible aswell, ie very pixelated..
